Valborg The Oath Blade served along the great Companies that say the Thousand Sons burn. His tale is far older then that, and in its telling the origin of his name and purpose can be found. Bondsmen of The Russ, and Wolf Guard of the Primarch The Oath Blade was so known for those that took a Blood Oath to The Russ, would spill his blood with the ritual blade entrusted to his care. It was also his duty that should the oath be broken, he would tear the tread of the Oathbreaker, a fate worse then death to the Sons of Russ.

 

When the Son's of Russ brought death to the Son's of Magnus and their world, the traitors fled justice into the warp via their magics and warp craft, but they did not flee without hope of a Final justice at the hands of Russ's own. The 13th great Company followed into the wake howls on the wind and blades hungry to tear the treads of the traitors. The Only of Russ's Bounds men to be near enough to react was Valborg the Oath Blade. Turning to face his lord and drawing the Oath Blade to hand, The last Image his Primarch would see of him was his Oath that Magnus and his sounds would face the sanction of the sixth...

 

Many of the Great Companies since that day have seen things that aid their cause, brothers of the 13th that could never still survive tearing the treads of the enemies of the Emperor, but never staying, never anything but a shadow in the dark.

 

Valborg it is said still comes for the Oath Breakers of the Rout, and those that forsake their oaths to the Emperor...

 

 

Table Top he Counts as a Fully decked out Wolf Lord, on Thunder Wolf with Frost blade and storm shield, and all the fixins, he also runs with a full pack of Fen wolves which count as a mist of Souls that surrounds Valborg, the claws of the damned Oathbreakers reaching out to claim their own muhahahaha... But i have only been able to come up for models is stretched out cotten balls on a base about the size of a wolf would be (A low fog). If anyone has any ideas for a better way to get the effect let me know. Comments as always are always welcome.

My immediate thought was: That's a fairly badass Lone Wolf with Mark of the Wulfen.

a hordes warpwolf form Circle of Orboros all done up in spacewolf regalia humm he is a little tall to be a marine who became a wolfen for my taste but still he looks good.

Although an interesting model choice to make a representation of your Wolf Lord, the model itself doesnt seem to really fit the bill for a PA based forum.

 

Although the paintwork is of very good table top qualify, the model would need further work to correspond with the boards mythos.
