Alys Dwr
Hi all, I've had this model for years now, he's just sat there staring at me. I didn't want to paint him as a templar, black is a bit boring and is a colour i've painted before. Never tried yellow though so... http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l39/bonsai-al/fistyfun.png It's early days but i though i would share  Plan is to sort of make it up as i go along and aim for a gritty look. Next up is another coat of yellow or two and then on with the highlighting. Al
Olis
Not bad fot a start - I was about to advise slapping on more yellow until I saw the bottom part of your post. :P
Alpha PTP
Next time you decide to paint yellow, I would go with a white undercoat. It is so much easier to paint the metal areas black than it is to paint yellow over black. I stopped working on a project because I got so sick of working with yellow. I'll stick to black and orange, thank you very much. :D Throw a few more coats and add some highlights, mate.
