-Volsung-
Hello brothers! Just a thought, how much contribution do the Space Wolves give to Ordo Xenos Deathwatch teams? Are there any current references of any particular wolves taking up such a charge in up-to-date fluff accounts? Also, if that was the case, how would that particular Space Wolf be treated? Would he be a lone-wolf, or would he be able to return to his pack after his time is done? Thanks, brothers! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242453-deathwatch-space-wolves/ Share on other sites
stinkenheim
Theres a Deathwatch graphic novel that has a space wolf in it. Its a few years old now and was released before the introduction of Lone Wolves. I don't see why the space wolf would need to be a Lone Wolf though, it would be a great chance for the chapter to enhance it's reputation and for individual warriors to gain greater renown. It could also be along the lines of the novel 'Wolfblade' where promising space wolves are sent to learn the political side of serving the Imperium rather than simply hacking and slahing. Let's be honest, only those who will eventually lead need to understand the inner workings of the various departments that make up the Imperium, every one else needs to crack skulls lol. Valerian
There was an old one-pager somewhere in a Space Wolves focused White Dwarf, I think, that had a newly formed Deathwatch Kill Team going around the group giving introductions. We were provided with a Long Fang, who had been detailed to the Deathwatch describing Fenris to his new Brothers, so that they would have a better sense of who he was, and what his perspective on things would be. Cool article, but I don't know if I could find it again without some serious digging. Hellrender
In the second Ultramarines book, Warriors of Ultramar, there is a Space Wolf Deathwatch, called Henghst, fighting alongside Uriel Ventris. Weirdly enough he gets referred to at one point as ''the former Space Wolf''. Hmmm... Your loyalty is to the deathwatch first and yiour chapter second @ Valerian the short story you mention can be found in the 3rd edition SW codex Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242453-deathwatch-space-wolves/#findComment-2932445 Share on other sites
