Well, since we're posting examples B) here's my old Daemon Hunter Terminator model converted to be the Chief Librarian of the Legio B&C. I gave him a standard old school terminator storm bolter and a fancy sword. It's the old school Terminator Librarian arm with the blade hacked off and Mephiston's sword mounted in its place (nice and pointy).

As you can see, I've put that old 1st edition model on a 40mm base. What you may not be able to see is that he's also on a 25mm base, which is mounted on the 40mm base. This gives him a little height that the older models lack over the new terminators.

I've done pretty much the same thing with all of my older terminator models, including an unfinished Terminator Captain (that will be a Crimson Fists Captain when finished). This is by no means required of me, but I choose to do so out of a (misguided?) sense of sportsmanship, and also a lot of trying to give these older models height in order to better match them to the new models.

Maybe one day my Chief Librarian will face off against INP's model to duke it out to declare who is the sexiest old school terminator model on a 40mm base in an AoD near you.

late to the party: but i had an old RT era terminator with an assault cannon that had long ago snapped.

i replaced it with the barrel tip from ork bolter (all so RT era) looked good for what it was

i would look at some of the big shoota barrel ends or like nuglez does use chaos bits ( i think i would rather use the short stubbies that the longer ones nurglez uses)
