TiguriusX
I'm a digital SW but am slowly collecting models when I see great deals on EBAY. Figure I'll have more spare time as the kids get older and might even get them interested in the hobby down the road. I have no clue what the contents are for anything besides the current SW Grey Hunter box. Where can you find the SW backpacks with the twin wolf heads (image below)? Is that only from older SW tactical boxes? I saw a box of SW tacticals on EBAY today and the artwork was different. The twin wolf backpack caught my eye. It sold for $22 US including shipping if you are curious. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242714-bits-question-wolf-head-backpack/ Share on other sites
littlbitz
You used to get 1 plastic backpack of that sort with the Space Wolf upgrade sprue that used to come with Space Wolf kits. It was also available as a metal bit, that is how I purchased many of mine. Jimmy Carmine
It's available on the old Space Wolves Accessories Frame. You can still get it from the GW website here. -Leman Russ-
I actually posted a question similar to this a few months ago now. They come from the Space Wolf Accesory Frame sprue that you can buy from GW. The sprue on Ebay was a huge rip-off, retail value is $9.90, im pretty sure these are order only, my local store didn't have any stock. Best of luck! here is the link: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod150001a Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/242714-bits-question-wolf-head-backpack/#findComment-2934642 Share on other sites

Apparently GW calls it an "ornate backpack" As for what I saw on EBAY wasn't a bits sprue. It was a SW tactical marine box. One of the images had the double wolf pack (circled it in the image...and already posted the zoomed image). I was wondering if it was an older box. Jimmy Carmine
I may be wrong but that looks like the old 3rd Edition box, they used to have separate Grey Hunters and Blood Claws boxes back then. If memory serves it was a tactical squad box with the Space Wolf Accessory Sprue.
