Chapter Master Ignis Domus
They don't have True Grit anymore. They now have Ultra Grit, which means they have a bolter, bolt pistol, and close combat weapon. WG Vrox
We now have the best standard space marine in the game for 10 + 5 points because of the change. bloodred0114
ok so i am guessing that is a bolter for range and a pistol and ccw for assault? Chapter Master Ignis Domus
You get all three. At the same time. So you can shoot your bolter all day, then pop off a few pistol shots and assault something. It's incredibly useful. Valerian
ok so i am guessing that is a bolter for range and a pistol and ccw for assault? That's right. Of course, you can't fire a Bolter (rapid fire weapon) and Assault, but you can fire a Bolter, receive a charge from depleted enemy unit in following turn, test for Counterattack, then get three attacks per Hunter when receiving a charge (which is as good as an Assault Marine conducting a charge). Thus, we get the ultimate in flexibility without paying an extra point. Wulfebane
It should be pointed out.. only Grey Hunters get all three weapons as standard. None of our other units have the wargear options to equip in this manner. So Grey Hunters are the only ones capable of making a choice whether to charge with a +1A for extra ccw or to rapid fire and potentially take a charge with Counter Attack, still gaining the +1A.
