maturin Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 Am I correct in thinking that Command Squad vets equipped with storm shields have 3 attacks in CC? 2 base + 1 for BP+CCW. Whereas Vanguard vets must trade in a BP or CCW for a storm shield, reducing their attacks to just the base 2. Have I missed something? If true I may try substituting a CC command squad for my VV's... Chapter Master Ignis Domus Posted December 3, 2011 Share Posted December 3, 2011 No. The rules for a Storm Shield specifically state that a model may never gain the plus one attack for having two close combat weapons, so you wouldn't be able to claim the bonus, no matter the circumstances.
