never leave Fenris without (____)

Grey Hunters! Without the bread and beer of my company, I couldn't have served the xeros up a feast of chainsword and bolt rounds to go with their fine, well cultured blood.

Beyond that, my single speeder and wolf scouts are a unit thats done me proud. While the bread is setting them up, the other half toasts the contents and delivers a delisious filling of finely mashed and toasted xeros, with a slight hint of victory to bring out the full flavour.

For me, other than the obvious choice of Grey Hunters, I never leave the Fang without my MotW in each GH pack, and usually 2 Wolf Priests. I play a very aggressive close combat SW list, preferring to assault whenever I can (within reason), so the Wolf Priests and MotW marines are the extra punch I need to take down things like Blood Angel elite infantry choices and squads of Sternguard vets. ( almost every one in my group plays power armor of some sort) Also I always use a WG pack leader in each GH pack with a frost blade if the pack has a Wolf Priest or a Wolf Claw if it doesn't. For a close combat focused army this has worked very well for me, I regularly play a Blood Angels player and win in the assault phase.
Grey hunters are a given, but more specifically I hate yo leave home without my two favorite dreadnoughts, Gunnarr and Halfdan. Those two have saved countless grey hunter lives, especially in games with bloodletters! I change their arms out all the time, and I plan to buy new housings for them at some point, but their spirits will still be my two favorites.

Long Fangs! Nothin' better'n quaffin' ale and plinckin' targets while sitting on the porch with your buddies...

Or quaffin' Øl while sending five missiles a turn downrange while sittin' on the tallest piece of terrain in the deployment zone!

never leave Fenris without your thermal underwear

not funny and doesn't really contribute to the thread whelp. A TRUE wolf player knows, its not always winter on Fenris.

Now, now. Don't scare the Blood Claws. We don't want them totally senseless.

No sense no feeling. It's worked for Greenhorn so far.

obviously you have no sense of humor

actually I do, and I'm from Canada so I know how cold it can get during winter! at least uberwolve replied and answered with a joke. posting without being insightful or not answering a thread topic is just pointless and useless in my opinion. Not to mention I don't know you here at the Fang well enough to "joke around" in return.

foy your answer to "Never Leave Fenris Without"........Ragnar's Great Company...........I play nothing but Apocalypse

now how hard was that to answer? ;)

-edit-

I was looking for the word "helpful" instead of insightful....

I didn't ask for a short monologue of your bio... I dont see your point? there is a difference in "seeing" snow and actually feeling frozen cold. It doesn't matter where you are now or where you've lived. Spending winter in Canada, especially in Saskatchewan is a true test of man vs mother nature.. with wind chills of minus 60 degrees for example. A good laugh is only helpful if it was funny or if people actually laughed. Anyway, lets try to stay on topic shall we? Helpful replies are more useful than pointless out of topic comments.

wasnt it you who went off topic when YOU mentioned "actually I do, and I'm from Canada so I know how cold it can get during winter!".............I am just replying to what you said...............Buffalo was on Lake Erie and it had nasty wind chill

Besides Grey Hunters. I say Wolf Scouts and my Long Fangs! and stop barking/mocking at Lakota or the mods will step in and close this thread, as I'm rather curious in seeing what my fellow wolves have to post and contribute. So both of you drop it, before I drop you both myself.

what are you twelve? Don't be pitiful it's ridiculous. As I said, both of you drop it.

I think you could say just about anything and it would be worthwhile having it..........the only exception would be swiftclaws, thunderwolf cav and canis wolfborn............for the point cost and the survivability of these they just arnt that worthwhile

Do you even have a clue...........I made a joke and then tried to be part of the conversation.......no need to be rude
