I usually hate drybrushing. There is however something so characterful about these that makes their appearance more valuable than traditionally highlighted models.

I would seriously suggest keeping the drybrushed armour and maybe weapons but blending it together with inks and detailing the skin, cloths and skull details with layering so as to unify the model with detail hiding the majority drubrushing whilst maintaining the rugged characterful charm.

"Brother, pull thy fingerBLAM, Thunderhammer to face! Oh my god, you guys still fall for this, after all this time, I can't believe it! Really? A you're hoping to hear a fart being released within the confines of layer upon layer of ceramite? How lame would that be?"

Nice models, mate. =)

im loving that tyrannid vet with the servitor arm!

i'd never have thought about that... till now!

-makes off with the idea-

i love the feel of them so far, and im certainly loving the battle damage, but it might just be the lighting, but they seem to look more like space wolves than ultramarines

or i could just need my eyes tested :P

either way, i'll be keeping my eye on this one, you have quite a few ideas that i'd love to steal ;)

I like the color, but I think the painting quality over all is a little lacking...the drybrushing looks....well...dry brushed, and the result is a rushed looking finish. Have you given highlighting and or blending a thought? With a little practice you could tunr out some very nice stuff.
