Lord_Azoth Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 Hello brothers!! I was thinking about joining of of my wolf guards with a scout unit, I´ve read the book and the codex allows it. But I don´t see in any place if the final unit (scout + WG) would keep the original special rules of the scouts. Does this new unit (WG+Scout) still has the rules of outflank, scout, etc.? If yes, where I can read this? thansk a lot and an ale for you all, this round is on me! nurglez Posted December 5, 2011 Share Posted December 5, 2011 In the space wolf faq it clears this up. When you attach a wg to a squad he becomes part of the squad. Valerian Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 In addition, you can also join either a Wolf Guard Battle Leader or a Wolf Priest to the Scouts and still use BEL, as long as you've given him the Saga of the Hunter. Using the correct Oath of War (usually preferred enemy against Infantry), a Wolf Priest plus Wolf Guard Pack Leader, and a Wolf Scout pack equipped for close combat (2x Power Weapons and Mark of the Wulfen), make an assault force that can deal with almost any unit in the enemy backfield.
