Know thy Enemy

Battle Brothers! There is countless material on this forum about what comprises a good Spacewolf list, but knowing your army is only a small part of the battle. Knowing your enemy's army is just as important.

 

Please recant your dealings with the Inquisition. We all need to know what we are up against, weaknesses, strengths, and strategy. Let us know what you know about Grey Knights!

their armor is grey, and I believe they are knights.....in all seriousness I believe we started countless threads about this when the GK came out.

 

But here it be:

 

Fire at them, then keep firing you dont want them in CC

Paladins have grenades ....wut? (yeah it surprised me when they went at I when assaulting trough cover)

Long range fire power devastates them.

Rune priests shut them down pretty effectively if u get lucky on your rolls.

Paladins are hard to kill , either ignore and deal with rest of army first or focus fire them, in any case you need multiple squads firing into them , and krak missiles are your friends, so are meltas and las canons

Halberds hurt.

 

They will get the drop on you with those init-raising hi-jinks and cut through your armour. Long-range is the best so dust off those long fangs and show them that a wolf can kill from any distance.

 

Space Wolves are not one-trick ponies and against the Grey Knights you need to use that to your advantage.

Just go up to the 'Search' link in the upper right corner of this page (between Members and Help). Type in "+Grey +Knights +Paladins" (without the actual quotation marks) and keep the 'Search this forum only' boxed checked. That should bring up a host of threads related to dealing with the Knights.
