Part 1 "We call it Saeva." Silentius' voice reverberated off the walls of one of many hundreds of chambers at the heart of The Bastion of Honor; a vessel of the Ordo Xenos, and the great Imperium of Man. The Astartes of Bralios tactical squad gathered around the circumferance of the Holo-projection emmiter in the center of one of the larger breifing chambers. Four massive armoured beings total, excluding the watch captain Silentius himself, formed the body of Bralios. At the center of the small podium rotated a projected likeness of the planet below. The demigods stood with their heads exposed to the mechanical atmosphere of the ship, their facial features illuminated by the light emanating from the podium. All so different yet alike in the broad shapes of their faces. Silentius had always been a being of little speech, yet still retaining the authoritative guise of a captain of his calibur. His face, ravaged by time and multiple centuries of war, bore the scars of a war hero. Pock marked by scars of a flesh altering illness; the same illness he watched his company brothers fall victim to long ago. For some unspoken reason these markings never completely faded from his grim, emotionless expression. Praetus, standing directly across the dias gave his brothers a puzzled, sideways glance. "A feral world?" he gestured with a wave of his right gauntlet to the dark shade and texture of the foilage that could be seen clearly from orbit, even on the turning projection. "It has been nearly seven days Praetus. For the warriors of the XIII legion to have not heard from so numerous a number of brothers gives them a valid reason to be concerned." "I do not intend to question their concern, captain. I am merely taken by the circumstances." "These circumstances , are precisely why we were chosen to investigate these tasks" breathed Silentius. Batbayar, a jester of sorts, bellowed a hearty laugh, clapping the Imperial Fist on the back of his warplate. Ceramite on ceramite echoed through the chamber. "Do i sense a hint of doubt my friend?" The white Scar smiled at his brother. "I have no doubts" Praetus said. "Only curiosities."..............
