i have 6 boxes of PAGKs and 5 razorbacks and i cant decide to either run three squads of 10 and combat squad the psycannons, five squads of 6 in either razorbacks or rhinos, or 6 squads of 5 in either rhinos or razorbacks, i can get more razors if need be. i also plan on running a vindicare and three psyfleman dreads and sometimes swap a dread to venerable and throw in a NDK w/ HI.

 

I like to run as many psycannons as i can, one hammer and the rest w/ halberds per squads.

you will have so many KPs anyway it wont matter, run 6 squads of 5 that way you ahve room for any characters you may bring along liek an inquisitor or something. That and the additional guy really doesnt add much to the unit. Keeping some as a ten man unit can work if you can source the second razorback transport you will need if you combat squad them from another unit who doesnt require them.

6 boxes is 30 marines.

you have 5 metal boxes.

 

5 squads of 6. 2 psycannons, 1 hammer, 3 halberds - 175 points

 

now you can go with rhinos - letting you shoot the psycannons out of the top - 200

or you can go with psybolt razorbacks, providing you with fire support, but are a little trickier to use as your manz need to get out to use their cannons, so use of the V formation to protect them is important - 250

you also said you wanted to run as many psycannons as you can. so, psycannon backs? - 425

 

if you take the psycannon backs in your troops that's 1300 points. with the vindicare, crowe tax and 3 rifleman dreads thats 2000 on the nose. 8 vehicles, 15 psycannons, 6 tl s8 autocannons and 30 menz.
