Simo429
Not a topic I have seen come up, apologies if it has. Looking for the impressions of Wolf players who have done their armies with an airbrush rather than a actual brush, I have asked Santa for one and am thinking about stripping my wolves after March (when my 2012 tournament season will end until Oct) and trying to get a better grey rather than baby blue but I'm not sure if the Airbrush will make all that different. In my head I see these amazing armies with an airbrush and think, it must be well easy. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243287-painting-space-wolves-with-an-airbrush/ Share on other sites
GalaxyChief
The airbrush will allow you to to quickly base coat and do some pre-shading. You most likely will not be able to do all the detail work you can with a brush. They are awsome to use for painting vehicles! Bradimus Prime
I'd get some practice in now on some old miniatures before you decide to have a go at your wolves. My mate started on pieces of terrain and then worked his way down to vehicles as he said it was quite tricky to get the air brush right. Forté
There's a user on here called DV8. Paints his SW with an airbrush. Hunt him down but try not to drool over his pics too much.
