Thanks the warm welcome brothers!

I am an really old SW veteran, I played them by the time they had their 1st Codex still under 2nd edition 40k.

Sold the army later, but the idea of painting another Wold army was always there.

Right now I do not think that I will have an 40K army ready soon (and maybe never), but I use them for other games systems...

Actually your Sanguinius is a Ronin Miniatures model. From what I understand they were shut down by GW for selling models of the Primarchs without permission. All in all though your builds are fantastic and the paint schemes youve chosen are beautifully done.

Some more pics taken in the natural habitat of the Wolves, the untamed Fenrisian tundra...

My only problem is the storm bolters. They would have twin linked bolters since storm bolters weren't invented yet.

So true according to the fluff, but where are these TL-Bolters?

Are there already some on the backmarket that look good?

Ebay is your friend the chaos space marine terminators box has some of them. They look similar but they are slightly longer.

Paint recipe:

Figures are based black, armour is painted Vallejo Black Grey (70682), all the details are painted and the whole mini gets a thinned down army painter dark shade painted on.

After that some MIG pigments on the legs and here and there.

Then MIG Pigment fixer, makes also everything Matt.

Then highlights, Black grey again and more and more Vallejo Medium Sea grey (70870).

Final highlights pure white.
