Chalx the grey
Hi all How do you assign wounds to a Thunderlord with pets? What's with T4/T5? I mean shooting is clear, you wound against majority toughness, but in CC if a enemy unit targets the Lord (T5) can you assign it to a wolf instead? Since they are wargear they don't form a unit on their own, but then you would have to wound against T4 toughness? I am about to finish a thunderlord (well I just converted it from Canis and have to paint him yet) and I would like to make all this clear before deciding if he's going to go with a couple of wolves. littlbitz
In close combat they do constitute a seperate unit, so no, you could'nt allocate in that case. Chalx the grey
Ok so he's T5 all right... thanks for the clarification, I didn't expect that the 2 wolves alone would have to be considered a unit for combat purposes, but I'll take your word for it Littlbitz! It's in the Space Wolves FAQ which is available on the GW website.
