CitadelArmyGuy
I apologize if this has been addressed and resolved already-- I really tried to use search-fu but couldn't pin it down. How does Red Thirst (RT) interact with Independant Characters (IC) that do not have that special rule? 1) IC attached during deployment, Unit rolls it and IC gains RT as a 'member of unit'? 1a) IC leaves unit and loses RT? 1b) IC joins a RT Unit mid-game and gains RT? 2) IC attached during deployment, Unit rolls it but IC does not have the rule and so does not benefit at all? Fearlessness is obvious but I'm curious about the Furious Charge effect in particular.
JamesI
The unit has furious charge, the IC does not. Same as putting a chaplain in a Death Company unit.

Xenith
Wellllllllllllll ok then no issue. Just a lot of local gamers are playing it wrong then. Thanks. If I remember correctly, independent characters do not have the red thirst rule, so can never gain the benefits from it. Neither is FC an ability that is passed onto a character joining a unit with it, as discussed in the USR section of the rulebook.
