Space marine scout vs imperial shock trooper scaling

I want to do some space marine scouts that have scout legs, cadian shock trooper bodies, space marine scout arms, and these heads

My one question is how to shock troopers bodies match up to scout bodies? Are the shock trooper torsos a tiny bit smaller? If so, do the bolter carrying scout arms fit on them "well enough" or are they just too small to pull it off without a buffer between the arms and the body?

Thanks in advance.

Scout arms fit pretty much exactly. I often stick scout bits on my guardsmen as variation, so it should work well for you if you're using them as scouts. In fact, I have some scout models lying around that are mostly Cadians since I ran out of torso bits.

Thanks man, exactly what I needed to know. You got any pics I can look at just for kicks? (ok, and maybe for some ideas to steal :D )

Sadly no. A fair number were annihilated by the Xenos Psyker Kitten, and the rest are in storage somewhere. I may be able to build one out of some spare bits, though.

Sad to hear that. Well no problem, and you don't have to build one unless you want to.

Some Google searching might fnid what you're after.

Here's a shot (stolen from a Warseer thread via Google Image Search) of Scout legs, Cadian torsos, and Cadian arms:

Some IG vets made form the same parts:

Ah, gotcha.

The consensus is that they're a tad large, but not overly so. The Scout arms are just a tad longer than the IG arms.

Ok, cool. Thanks for the link :HQ:
