henrywalker
I just bought this guy from scibor http://sciborminiatures.com/en_,shop.php?a...of_rome_p05.jpg I want to use him for my grey knights for certain and I feel I can center my army around him. I have yet to see him in the flesh so I'm not even 100% certain if his armour could pass as terminator or not (although artificer no problem) Any ideas who I can use him as? Also any thoughts about the model in general? Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243556-who-is-this/ Share on other sites
Olis
You could use him as an Inquisitor, given suitable, subtle alterations. :D The model itself is quite good, but Scibor has his own style and including him in a squad as a squad leader always seems a bit off to me, unless the individual is an outsider (like an Inquisitor). henrywalker
You mean because the style of his armor is too different? I agree. He probably will clash with regular models if in their unit. Inquisitor is a good idea except I don't tend to play them. I was thinking a grandmaster possibly mordrak (with a hammer) In general though I imagine him alone as the centrepiece for an army. RedemptionNL
You could try him as a counts as Castellan Crowe. He wields a sword (although demonic), has artificer armour and is by his lonesome anyway. Tayrod
Small problem on WYSIWYG though; His left hand looks an awfull lot like a power fist, and GK grandmasters cant use fists (one of the Inqs can though). henrywalker
Urge. I hate misuse of that rule. I'll just say that if you want to give me a power fist yay. If not oh well who cares. There is one guy in my gaming club who does that sort of stuff and it annoys me. I'm not going to many tournaments sO shouldn't matter Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243556-who-is-this/#findComment-2944745 Share on other sites
Grotsmasha
Maybe you could add a shield for a Draigo counts-as? Comments as follows. He's Scibor's 'Emperor' mini and stands [feet-to-eyes] taller than a GW termi, and I really want one !!! to go with the sci-fi romans [custodians] I bought. Oiad
Bulldog had a terrific go at converting the Scribor models into Paladins. You find the pictures in his thread here. jeffersonian000
I would use him as the Emperor in a Pre-Heresy army with Custodes modeled on a Draigowing build. Crynn
You have to remember these models are significantly larger than marines and look 'off' in squads. Also scibors models while lovely are completely different in style and far moer cartoony in preportions that many GW models. Also the weaponsa re very cartoony as well. Regards, Crynn The weapons are quite low on detail compared to the rest of the models and can be VERY easily replaced with GW ones. Also it's VERY easy to fit power packs onto some of the "sci-fi" wariors. It's almost as if they were deliberatly designed that way :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243556-who-is-this/#findComment-2947085 Share on other sites

The intention of the rule is to make sure the models on board has what the list on paper has. So an opponent can SEE what he´s facing. You dont like the "misuse" of LoS either? henrywalker
Yes but a player should not be penalised for making a cool model, ie my Titan can't take a bigass sword but that shouldn't mean I can't model him with one Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243556-who-is-this/#findComment-2951241 Share on other sites
