Dosjetka
Hello all! I was browsing some blogs when I came across a spectacular piece of art by JRN. http://www.jrn-works.dk/DW/assassins/sketch.jpg I saw he used drawing inks. Now, I've been a big fan of artists using drawing inks but I've never used them myself. Now that I have finally reached a level of drawing that I feel is acceptable, I would like to produce some 40k art using inks. So, here is my question: could anybody with experience/knowledge about these inks give me some advice on how to start off with them and maybe point out which company I should go to to purchase the said inks? Any help is greatly appreciated! Ludovic Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243557-drawing-inks-advice/ Share on other sites
Venerable Jazzman
The Winsor & Newton website has some useful info. In my experience, they're similar to a watercolour, but with a higher concentration of colour. Solid Zaku
The wife (a graduate art major) agrees. It's a pigment-rich watercolor. Treat it as such. Will try and get my hands on some and dabble around with 'em.
