And if not, with the three colors you listed, you only have one option: Prime white, paint blood red, wash with baal red, done.

You know, speaking as someone who is fairly new to this board, some of you guys are kind of, well, a short-form for Richard but pluralised.

I get that it can get annoying to have people ask the same things over and over but was there really any need to respond in that manner, cathar? You couldn't have just said that there are Painting Tutorials and pointed to the right section? You had to take the extra time to write extraneous information in a pompous manner just so you could "pwn a n00b"? All you did was make yourself and the board look bad.

My advice primarche is to invest in a can of Army Painter's red spray primer. Two or three light coats of that gives you a great basecoat and completely eliminates the need to do a separate coat of Blood Red on top of white primer while giving you a result that is just as vibrant as Blood Red over white. It also matches perfectly with Blood Red if you need to go back and do some touch-ups later.

The main issue was that the OP was posting a questio in teh Tutorials section (without having read teh README as well) - B&C is a tight ship, but run fairly....

Anyhow, back on topic. I recommend that you invest in a couple more paints - black and chainmail or boltgun to start with... ADD Bblaxing orange and red gore to highlight and shade, and then follow the given tutorials...
