I was wondering what I could do to make the force weapons look better. The process I did to make them look as they are was I painted them Regal Blue as a base coat. Then I put painted them Sky Blue and highlighted the edges in Skull White. After that I washed them with a Blue Ink to make them look glossy blue. Do you think I should do new highlights and maybe add some free hand lightning bolts on the surface?

First off, great dark tone on the metallic colour, have you looked at airbrushing the force weapons on YouTube? Some great tuts on there.

I found a tutorial for masking and airbrushing force weapons.

I'll post pictures of the next Grey Knights Terminator Squad I do using that technique.
