Azaghal
So. I decided to go with Lamenters, but IMO their fluff is under developed, plus I don't like some ideas, so I make my own, alternate Lamenters (though they'll stay pretty much the same as FW ones  ). Firsly, I want to make them Chaplain-heavy Chapter. Secondly, by the rule of cool, I'm using some of the Black Templars customs (ok, one: chaining the weapons. Not a big deal  ). The main outline (thanks to Octavulg and his guide, it's been quite easy) is as follows: Angels of Sorrow: The Lamenters Origins Cursed Founding Blood Angels successor Red Thirst and Black Rage presumably removed Later History self-inflicted crusade 9th Black Crusade, warp-storm (Revered Calix dies – important for gene-seed part) friendship with Astral Claws Badab War Minotaurs ambush penitent crusade “present” time: 50 years in the crusade, Malakim Phoros joins his chapter Home World fleet-based chapter fleet pre-Badab fleet post-Badab: one Battlebarge (and one forgeship? 3 strike vessels? or maybe only Mater Lachrymarum?) Gene-seed around the time of Badab, Black Rage and Red Thirst return (Revered Calix took some secrets to grave) Beliefs very strong Sanguinary Cult (Calix - part of the Reclusiam?) Emperor as a Messiah figure, distrust for “corrupted” High Lords of Terra numerous Chaplains, frequent individual confessions alternate Sanguinator: black wings, silver mask, weeping. Not really sure about the name, basically it's the same one as BA one, but Lamenters see him differently side note: chaining weapons, custom similar to BT (first mentioned in chapter’s records about M37 crusade) Combat Doctrine hit-and-run, squad seargants choose how to deploy (rather than being assigned to assualt, devastator, tactical by skill) once air-assault, now due to lack of weaponry either jump-packs or mech-transport assaults sometimes Scout Armour is used instead of Power Armour, for mobility forces organised from across the chapter Death Company Organisation many Chaplains Silent (=Sanguinary) Guard, under orders of Chapter Master. Just 5 of them, Lamenters have little of Artificer armour. Calix = Sanguinary Priests answering to Reclusiam marines moved to form 3 companies little TDAs, several Dreadnoughts (1 Furioso Librarian, 1 Furioso Chaplain) Death Company Battle-cry For those we cherish, we die in GLORY! Those are just the main points. If you feel that some of my ideas are wrong, please let me know, I'll think about it. Also, I'm not a native English speaker, but be merciless - I can take it. :wallbash: Thanks for any comments & critique!
