Leonaides
Evening all - Just wished to flag up to those of you who will be getting new models in the next few days/weeks that there will (I'd imagine) be another Librarium Painting Challenge along in a few weeks after Christmas. See here for details of last years if you arent familiar with it. The BA sub-forum has won for the last couple of years, but we cant sit on our laurels just because the others havent won yet. Might be a good time to make sure you've got all the necessary bits and pieces to get going if/when it happens. Choose your models and check your paints arent dry people, this time its serious... :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243830-lpc-thoughts/ Share on other sites

Jorre
This will be my first year to! Hopefully it will be all the motivation I need to get a new force ready Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243830-lpc-thoughts/#findComment-2948444 Share on other sites
SnorriSnorrison
I don't get anything TT-related for Christmas, but I'd love to join the LPC next year! It also depends on the deadline, as I have finals in February and got soooome(= BY THE GODS, HOW MANY PAGES?) stuff to learn. :P Time to get that Stormraven and some Veterans done. Midnightmare
Seeing as I'm repainting old stuff at the minute I don't think I'll be in, unless I can pledge x amount of heads and x amount of shoulder pads, perhaps some markings on my tanks? ;-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243830-lpc-thoughts/#findComment-2948652 Share on other sites
JamesI
Seeing as I'm repainting old stuff at the minute I don't think I'll be in, unless I can pledge x amount of heads and x amount of shoulder pads, perhaps some markings on my tanks? ;-) That's where I am. My Furiosos (not including the Libby) might be entered. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243830-lpc-thoughts/#findComment-2948658 Share on other sites
Volcatus
I'll be participating this year. I've played this game for 17 years, and have yet to field a fully painted army (sad, I know). I'll probably vow for two full RAS. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243830-lpc-thoughts/#findComment-2948722 Share on other sites
Taranis
I have a Stormraven and a Vindicator still unpacked. One or both probably will be my vow. A piece of advice for new participants: If you get 300 assault marines and 40 rhinos, don't pledge it all. I believe we are many who have been sitting, painting and photographing late at night to complete. I am looking forward to the LPC. It's awesome stuff that gets created and shown. Sanguinarian
Tis better to overachieve, Brothers, than be found short of your vow! One squad, one vehicle is probably all it takes. But of course the quality should be better with fewer models. Leonaides
Tis true - you're only in a competition with yourself. If you think you really should be able to turn out 40 marines and a couple of vehicles, then put that, but if a single 5-man squad is a good effort for you then thats fine too... The Yncarne
I did my first last year and I painted way more than I pledged. This year I've already begun about all the BA stuff I have. I may pledge a Storm Raven I haven't primed yet, but I suspect I'll be pledging something for another B&C army as well. Brother Theseus
I've got 3 weeks starting tomorrow of winter recess to work on a stormraven, 2 baals, 5 RAS and some vanguards. Perhaps I will enter some seeing as I need motivation to paint faster. Gregornet
I think I'd like to join in this year. I've been considering starting on a small Lamenters force, and this is a perfect opportunity. Hopefully I get those new paintbrushes for Christmas... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/243830-lpc-thoughts/#findComment-2949649 Share on other sites
