Space Wolves Achievements!

Recommended Posts

Wait, are you going to start accomplishing achievements or are you going to create Grey Knights achievements? O_o

I havent had a GK on the field since Codex Imperialis was legal.... and I hate the Ward fluff for them. Im all for someone making a list, but Im not the one to do it.

Hopefully I haven't missed something you already wrote....

Old man? Who you calling old man?!

Assault and destroy a unit with Long Fangs.

In the end, there can only be one.

Kill the enemy HQs [they must have more than one] in mêlée with your HQ(s)

WAAAGH?! Chew on this, Xenos scum!

Kill Ghazghkull with your HQ on the turn he is affected by Waaagh!

Blood for the Emperor, Skulls for the Golden throne! - Even your cursed Primarch knew I was boss at slayin'

Kill a Khorne IC or unit in mêlée using Ulrik the Slayer.

Come pups, this is how killin' is done!

Kill an ELITE or HQ choice in mêlée with a unit lead by Ulrik the Slayer.

It's not about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit. And keep moving forward. That's how winnin' is done!

Kill an enemy unit with your HQ, in mêlée, after your HQ is reduced to one wound.

Expelliarmus pwnerus!

Kill an enemy psyker HQ by using an Runepriest's spell.

BOOM! HEADSHOT!

Instant death a multi wound IC using a shooting weapon.

I can dance all day, try and hit me, try and hit me.

Survive shooting from two enemy units with your unattached HQ.

It PWNS!

Kill any untouched enemy unit, only using an HQ's nominated weapon or spell. Nominate the weapon at the start of the game.

Though shalt not! I shall!

Kill an untouched enemy unit who charged your unit with your unit.

Thank you for the suggestions, Wilhelm. I'm going to sit down and carefully examine them, but will probably end up including most of them, though they might have different names. I don't know how I feel about CS/Pure Pwnage inspired names at the moment, hehe.

@Grey Mage: My bad, I was confused by the combination of name/avatar. Right on, dude!

@Small Far Away: You are a brave man. I wish you the best of luck!

I'm adding new achievements as we speak, so check the Achievement PAGE in a few hours!

Old man? Who you calling old man?!

Assault and destroy a unit with Long Fangs.

I sort of did this in my last game (the Long Fangs didn't launch the Assault): Blood Angels Assault Squad (without a Sanguinary Priest nearby), thought they were going to get an easy kill against the old men; successful Counterattack roll, combined with great armour saves on my part, saw his "assault" squad killed to a man, while 2 or 3 Fangs lived to tell the tale.

I realize it's the holidays and what not, but I was wondering if people had some other suggestions.

I really want to add some Thousand Sons achievements. One of them was going to be about killing Ahriman, but I couldn't think of a funny/creative/challenging way of doing so. One idea I had for the title of the achievement was "You're a Wizard, Ahri!" but that sounds too much like a Thousand Sons Achievement.. doesn't it?

Other considerations:

"Ahriman Bites the Dust"

"Another One Bites the Dust"

"Biting Dust"

"Chasing Dust Bunnies"

"Spring Cleaning"

Any preferences? Any other ideas? Comments, concerns?

Bum Bum Bum Bum Ahriman bites the dust:

After having somehow negated no fewer than four of Ahrimans psychic powers in a row slay him in close combat with any HQ model before he gets a power off.

Glasswalkers:

Win a game of cityfight with the Space Wolves.

Is that all youve got?:

Kill three or more monstrous creatures and or walkers with a single lone wolf during the course of any game in wich he survives.

Prospero Burns... again:

Kill atleast four units with the Mark of Tzeentch during a single game, leaving none of them alive on the table at the end.

Dont I know you from somewhere?:

Have Bjorn Kill a Chaos HQ with the Mark of Tzeentch of a Daemon HQ associated with Tzeentch.

I AM BEOWULF!:

Have any member of any pack singlehandedly destroy atleast two other units after losing all of his fellows.

@Grey Mage: Here is what I have so far.

Knowledge is Only Half the Battle - In a game of Warhammer 40,000 prevent Ahriman from Codex: Chaos Space Marines from casting each psychic power from the following list: Doombolt, Warptime, Wind of Chaos, Gift of Chaos and Bolt of Change, by using Njal Stormcaller's Staff of the Stormcaller, a Rune Priest's Runic Weapon or by using Wolf Tail Talismans.

Ahriman Bites the Dust - Instantly kill Ahriman from Codex: Chaos Space Marines by using a runic weapon.

What is the idea behind the achievement name "Glasswalkers" and the meaning of "Don't I know you from somewhere?"

I really like the "I AM BEOWULF" achievement but I'm trying to figure out a different way of phrasing or restructuring it a little. Maybe "After fleeing and then regrouping from a lost combat with an enemy unit, seek revenge by assaulting and slaying that same unit with the last remaining model from your unit." ? Waddaya think?

Glasswalkers is a tribe of werewolves from the old White Wolf gaming system Werewolf: The Apocalypse, a somewhat misunderstood game that was alot of fun with the right people. /nerd. They were a tribe of werewolves that had adapted to life within the cities, were technologically savy, and tended to be relatively clean cut as werewolves go.

Dont I know you from somewhere? Bjorn was around when the Thousand Sons were still mostly mortal. He was there at the burning of prospero. He actually could recognize particular thousand sons from his time as one of Russ' personal cadre. So for him killing a TS HQ model is going to be settling a very personal battle from his youth, not fighting an ancient enemy from the sagas.

As for Beowulf... do what you like. Its named after one of my bloodclaws- a particular lad with a powerfist whose pack charged a 30 strong ork boy unit, and before wiping them out was charged by a second unit. They wiped both of them out, but in the end he was the only survivor of this assault by about 50 orks. He then proceeded to destroy two trukks, a unit of warbuggies, and assault and wipe out the remnants of of a squad of dethkoptas. I named him Beowulf that day, and hes been a well loved part of my army ever since.

Oh, cool. I am familiar with the White Wolf games, I am actually currently (well.. in a "coming soon") Hunter: The Reckoning campaign for which I am super excited. /nerd I just never actually read the Werewolf books for some reason, although I do have some familiarity with the gist of it. Glasswalkers sounds just fine now that I get the reference. : ) Thank you.

"Dont I know you from somewhere?" - Yeah, that's what I thought, actually. I like it. It's going in.

Ahah.. Love the Beowulf story. I personally have a few of those myself. They feel especially gratifying when you play Space Wolves for some reason.. ;D

Alright, folk, I'm currently working on some Team achievements. I really enjoy teaming up with my friends and playing against other people. It really changes the way you play and look at the game..

So right now I'm adding 2v2 achievements in the list. I don't want to make them too complicated, so for now I'm just having achievements for winning a game by joining forces with a specific codex.

I'm looking for catchy names for the achievements, though.

So far the only idea I have is for joining forces with Chaos Space Marines. It should totally be called "When Live Gives You Lemons.. BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!"

Here's the list:

Unless someone has an ever better suggestion... ;3
