SomeIndianGuy
Good Evening Wolf brothers and sisters... Having only started one thread about a LoganWing army.. I thought I'd share so far of what I've painted and converted with you all. Whilst I can't hold my ale against some of the other wolves around here... I Hope you all enjoy. http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/9400/photo0355u.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/4647/photo0353.jpg http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/54/photo0350bk.jpg http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/8521/photo0346i.jpg http://img403.imageshack.us/img403/5295/photo0348.jpg I realise now the armour colour is a little Ultramarine like - I wanted to go for a dirty post heresy look. The conversions Wolf Priest http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/6246/photo0362a.jpg Rune Priest http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/9427/photo0359r.jpg It was my first time working with greenstuff .. Its not perfect but the concept was there. Lastly, is my Bjorn the Fel Handed.. the pose is totally ripped off from the cover of "battle of the fang'' http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/3531/photo0364p.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/244204-someindians-wolves/ Share on other sites
Schertenleib
Looking good so far. Well done! Couple of questions though.... 1) Is there a head under the wolf skull on the Wolf Priest? Looks like it's sitting low. 2) Are you planning to paint the bare face on Bjorn the same color as the armor of the walker itself? It would look cool as a "sculpture" of Bjorn from before he was sealed into the sarcophagus. SomeIndianGuy
1) Its a ball of greenstuff.. It doesn't look quite right. Once I finish painting.. I think I might fix it up to include a head. 2) I wasn't planning to use him as a sculpture but nice idea though! G. A. K.
they look good so far, I only have two things to say: First; the skull shoulder pad is always on the left shoulder not the right-second termie with Lightning claws Second; green stuff isn't too hard to work. try to keep your tools damp with water and they won't stick to the stuff allowing you to slide along to get a nice smooth surface. Overall I really like the models and the convertion for Bjorn too.
