Alrite guys and gals ive come up with an what I think is a great idea for a custom chapter. :P

 

Here is the idea for my custom chapter is a chapter of who were charged with the protection of a minor planetary system that had been ravaged during the great heresy and was being recolonized by the imperium in the later part of the thirty-second millenium.

You're definitely going to need to lay out more details before we can help you. I'd check out the Guide to DIYing and the Octaguide for ideas and guidance. Now, I'm not saying you need to create a full IA which takes many hours of hard work. However, these resources have helped me brainstorm and get the general feel for my chapter.

 

I look forward to a more thorough account of your chapters history, brother. :P

Just an FYI, there is some existing fluff for the Night Hawks. The Night Hawks Chapter was involved in a campaign to subdue the agri-world of Angarius. Not sure if the fluff is cannon but it might give you some ideas. The fluff is available on wh40k.lexicanum.com (which does not appear to be loading at the moment). IIRC, the chapter liver (color scheme) and chapter insignia were not disclosed.
