Cpt_Reaper Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 Hello there Chaos people. I recently decided to convert up a Abaddon Counts-as, using the old metal Terminator Lord. I was just wondering about the height of said model. Does it suffer from being shorter, like the actual Despoiler, or is it the same height as a modern plastic terminator? jerryrich Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 the old metal termi lord and the current termi lord are virtualy identical in size if the current one is not mounted on the rock. the ony reason i know is i just put them together with a box of termies (who are all also about the same size, but alittle bigger than the old metal termies). i also think the old metal termi lords are beter looking models. but that part is just my opinion. The giant block of metal with all the cabling around his face and the giant lightning claw/demon gun/demon sword? That's a suitable Yabbaddabbaddon proxy as far as height is concerned. Iron Lord Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 I thought for a moment they were referring to the really old Chaos Lord with the mace, pictured in the 3.0 ed Chaos codex- did that exist as-is back then, or was the picture in fact a picture of a conversion? Hiro_Protagonist Posted December 29, 2011 Share Posted December 29, 2011 It's a conversion. I just compared the photo to my old metal terminators. The Combi-Melta has been altered to have a clip rather than dangling rounds. The Mace arm is the Chain-axe arm with a head swap.
