vharing
Holy storm shields, Batman. I would hate to run into them with anything less than a whole pile of force halberds. Tengo
What awesome models man, ever since I saw your Azzy, I knew you had a talent for sticking together some kickarse figures. I got a whole bunch of Deathwing to paint for the LPC, hopefully I'll be able to do the unforgiven proud. Looking forward to seeing your progress in the WIP updates mate, I'm sure they'll be models truly worth the honour of the Lion! fivepointedstar
Awesome just awesome. BTW you do realise that you've entered these in for the LPC for year 2012, not year 2102.. Good thing your covered for that year but you've still got plenty of time to fix them up to golden daemon standards since you have 90 years to complete it. :nuke: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/244573-my-lpc-2012-progress/#findComment-2957371 Share on other sites

blackbabyjesus
These are even better with paint. And at speed too... a squad like that would take me a couple of days at least, good going! company veteran
MY 'CRYSTAL' STYLE POWER WEAPONS: THE PAINTS I USED: ASTRONOMICON GREY, SKULL WHITE AND BADAB BLACK WASH. STAGE 1: APPLY GREY TO THE WHOLE BLADE STAGE 2: WASH ENTIRE BLADE WITH BADAB BLACK STAGE 3: DIVIDE THE BLADE DOWN THE CENTER AND RE-APPLY GREY TO HALF THE BLADE LEAVING A PORTION OF THE BLADE INKED. APPLY GREY TO THE OTHER HALF BUT ONLY WHERE YOU DIDNT APPLY GREY TO ON THE FIRST HALF. APPLY 'GLINT' LINES TO INKED SECTIONS AS SHOWN. STAGE 4: APPLY A 1:1 GREY AND WHITE MIX TO ALL THE AREAS YOU JUST PAINTED GREY STAGE 5: APPLY A 2:1 WHITE TO GREY MIX TO THE LINE UP THE MIDDLE/EDGES/GLINT LINES OF THE BLADE STAGE 6: APPLY STANDARD GREY TO INKED AREAS OF BLADE LEAVING THE DARK LINES BETWEEN HIGHLIGHTED AREAS STAGE 7: EDGE THE BLADE AND GLINT LINES WITH PURE WHITE. AND VOILA! YOU ARE DONE. HOPE ITS USEFUL. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/244573-my-lpc-2012-progress/#findComment-2957727 Share on other sites

company veteran
So i put my azrael next to my completed vets (his makeshift honour guard) and he didnt fit in at all! so after a slight reposition a change of shoulder pads and a repaint he now fights in nicely... that was a pain in the a**e need to get on with these vets!!! blackbabyjesus
What the hell?!? You've finished an entire squad to a really awesome standard in about the time it takes me to paint a backpack. I hate you loads for this. So much I wish I could hate you to death and then eat your heart to steal your speed painting knowledge. Also, these look great, more!
