It's my first go at "full-on" NMM, as I have usually reserved it for more conservative application. Brassangel Posted January 13, 2012 Author Share Posted January 13, 2012 It's NMM (Non-metal metallic), so I didn't use any "gold" per se. I used a range of colors from Snakebite Leather, down to Dark Flesh, up to Bleached Bone, and everywhere in between. There were also some washes of Leviathan Purple, and Sunburst Yellow thrown in. As to application: lots of thin, precise layers to build up a rich color are paramount. No rushing it, and no trying to apply it thickly to speed up the coats. Since you aren't here for my life story, I present you with a few updates to Mr. Sanguinor. I did some work on the wings (of which there are many on this figure). Sorry I don't have photos of any details up-close. I currently don't have a camera capable of focusing at such close proximity. Next, I plan to work on the backpack, the sword, the red shoulder pads, and perhaps the small details around the model, if there's time.
