daismith906 Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Editted after had change of direction for army Hello Now that ive completed my Silver Skulls army (C:SM) and after reading james swallows books about the Blood Angels ive decided to start my own BA army. Now i really like the "Descent of Angels" rule getting into cc asap so im planning to do a jump pack only army, with maybe a few devastators thrown in for long range anti-tank fun. So what chapter to paint???I Well theres a few BA armys at my club ranging from standard BA, Flesh Tearers & even Knights of Blood so wanted to doing something different. After searching around for successor chapters two stood out "The Flesh Eaters" & "The Angels Sanguine". So after searching numerous blogs & websites for inspiration i ended up chosing the Flesh Eaters 1st but decide after doing a test mini to do angels sanguine but with a slightly different paint scheme to the GW one. Luckily there chapter symbol is done by FW so thats sorted & managed to find a nice technique to paint a deccent red for the armour. Theres going to be a heavy "vampire/chaos" theme to this army as there fluff says they rarely show there faces so must be hiding a dark secret aka the look like vampires so expect undead looking skin & lots of gore. Chappy Choppy. :) I like it but I think it needs a little de-orkifying and some proper consecration to the Emperor AKA some Imperial Iconography (skulls, wings or aquilas will do it).
