My vow: I, conscriptboris of the Blood Angels, vow on the honour of my Chapter to paint and present at least Dante, Sanguinor, 5 Sanguinary Guard, 10 Assault Marines, 20 Death Company + Chaplain, 15 Vanguard, Baal Pred, 2 Dreadnoughts on or before the 31st of March, 2012. I promise to provide at least two WIP updates, preferably with pictures, in that time. I vow that if I should fail, I will provide the Librarium with an article and wear the Signature of Shame until my penitence period is done. Thought I should get a post up, I painted a 10 man sq, forgot to take photos, then started another......then realised again i hadnt started taking photos...again! anyway, photos up today of what I have to get done and what condition they are in. After 14years of hobby, the vast BA army is in a bit of a state...a poor one, after the release of the 5th Ed dex and reading the fluff I decided to make my army the 'Angelic Host' (the force dante calls upon made by the successor chapters), this means every other unit is a different successor (including ones that have gone traitor...) Definetly like the idea of a mix force, I always wanted to do a vanilla version (death watchy sort of thing), but a Blood Angel one would be nice to see as it's a very rare sight. conscriptboris Posted January 17, 2012 Author Share Posted January 17, 2012 @ Midnight runner: thats the exact reason Ive changed the force to 'Angelic Host', I was getting bored of the same scheme!....flesh eaters, ill see what I can do :) @ I am Legion: I dont own an airbrush yet, I havent made the plunged (a decent brush, compressor and extractor...£££) so ill be free handing it all the way! However one of my mates has an airbrush, im planning on borrowing it for the Lamenters Baal! It is a large LPC, however, if all goes to plan..I may even add to it. My painting isnt the best, and ive never claimed it to be, however this LPC is also a way to improve my skills with the brush and blending!
