Viridia
From looking at Codex; Space Marines, it's a LOS weapon. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245382-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2968451 Share on other sites
eudean600
LOS weapon ? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245382-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2968455 Share on other sites
Viridia
Line-Of-Sight Weapon. The Codex doesn't list it anywhere as being either indirect fire or a barrage weapon. greatcrusade08
unless it states its a barrage weapon (which it dont) then normal artillery rules apply as per the BRB.. infact both the cannon and the crewman need to draw LOS to fire Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245382-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2968611 Share on other sites
Isiah
As Alys Dwr said, it isn't in the DA Codex . Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245382-thunderfire-cannon/#findComment-2968654 Share on other sites
Brother Immolator
As far as i remember the Codex space marines has two or three modes/shell types to use with the cannon.I dont remember them on the top of my head and i dont have the book with me(doh!).But i think one of them is indeed an indirect strike weapon(no los needed). The weapon is not included in our codex so you might be far better asking the general marine subforum to get precise info. shabbadoo
All of the Thunderfire Cannon's firing modes require Line-Of-Sight. None of the firing modes has the Barrage special rule.
