New Space Wolves FAQ

What a disappointment; they yet again fail to directly and clearly answer any of the issues about Space Wolves that are still being debated. Why even bother with this "update"? What was the point?

Clearly demonstrates that these clowns really don't care about the quality of their game.

I still think SoH allows BEL, since when Scouts outflank they trigger BEL. Oh well.

They also cleared up TWC rending with a TH.

So do I, just got to convince all those TO's that SOH works

I never understood why you need rending TH's if you roll a 6 to pen or wound its already done for. Ive not seen a armour 17+ vehicle YET

Rending Frost blades they would have been nice.....

Looking at the wording of the Wolf Guard Pack Leader assigned to Wolf Scouts allowing them to use their special rules (including BEL) because he is NOT an independent character WITHOUT Scouts or Infiltrate. Seems to imply a character with the Saga of the Hunter would be able to use BEL.

As opposed to when FAQ's took way longer and still didn't answer all the questions?

After all that I don't think I have missed one jaws rolls anyway when coupled with a chooser.

What about MH, do you roll to hit with that?

No, Murderous Hurricane states the target unit takes "3d6 hits".

I would agree but I don't know if the majority would.

Would have been nice for them to say for MH though as quite a few rule lawyers try to argue it ;) , more than thunderclap and that got an answer.....

I've seen it argued as make 1 to hit roll, if you hit you get 3d6 hits.

I think that's just a horrid attempt to nerf the power (and I hate the power, it does bad things to my jump infantry)

The issue comes that there was an earlier FAQ that said that MH still put your opponents into difficult and dangerous terrain if it failed to hit, how can something fail to hit when it hits automatically?
