Adeptus Biologicus Sewage Farm (Terrain Project)

When I finally got my hands on a million manufactorum windows (my wallet didn’t like it), I decided to construct a large LOS-blocking building that you could enter and shoot out of. It’s part one of 9-12 buildings in my life time plan to make a city block game board. The house comes with a magnetized door that you can take off and can have some fun rules with. In our games, you can descend through the fan on the roof if you survive both an initiative test and a dangerous terrain test. But enough of this chatter, here’s how it looks like:

I can also post these rather stressbuilt ruins that actually came out quite nice, since we can change them up from game to game for variation.

Yes, the entire roof can be taken off (carefully if full of models of course) and units can then be moved around inside.

Man, those modular ruins are awesome! Any chance of a tutorial on those?

It's too simple really. You cut a square in half. Then take the right piece and mark the middle of the right side of it. Then draw two lines from the left corners to your mark. The left piece is marked in a mirrored way and then you just cut them up. The square is 280 mm. If you tilt your head to the right when you look at the picture, it should show. ;)

Love the liquid effects within the sewage farm. How did you achieve that effect?

I used GW's water effects mixed with a drop of Dark Angels Green. It takes forever to dry and you can only do thin layers at a time, so now I use laminating epoxy instead for a quicker way to reach the same effect. The later does not become white before drying as well, so you can see immediately how it's gonna be, which is very useful.
