Also, I like the lava bases, but (IMO) feel they need a coat of flat sealer to take away the glossy look. Still. good stuff Brother. tyrannosaurus Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Love your work mate, you're one of my favourite painters on here, and I'm a big fan of lamenters - the checks are spot on and the poses are great. They've got your clean and uncluttered style too. The yellow seems a little bit washed out though [probably the camera] and the red glow on the plasma guns looks a little strange, if they were blue or green they would look brilliant - I think the lava looks great, but as there's no glow on the legs it doesn't seem hot, if you know what I mean. Minor gripes though, way beyond anything I could do and if I had the money to pay someone to paint my minis it would be you - looking forward to more :lol: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm especially interested in the chapter badges on the shoulder pads, and the gold work on the first mini, and, and and...well, the entire first model actually :D I've been thinking of starting a BA or a Lamentors force to get back in the hobby.
