My FW Ven Dread is finished (PIC heavy)

I comissionned this a while ago to one of my friends who paints part time between his studies. It took a long time but the results are SO worth it. Not included in the pictures are all 7 arms possible. I am quite happy with the final results. Worth every penny.

I like it - first time I've seen this FW Dread painted up, very nice - although imo personal taste dictating, I'd go for a slightly darker greyer tone - but that's me and yours does work really nicely.

What's the model like to build/paint?

Like I mentionned in the OP. I did not trust my skills with the model yet so I handed the job to a friend of mine. But from what he said "LOTS of mold lines and a bit of flash." But he had lots of fun working on it. Everything is in the details and this thing has LOTS of them. Every arm is pretty cool. I will have to post a pictures of the other arms. The two TL Autocannons come off nicely.

I recently got a pair of autocannons from FW, and dead lord I have never seen so much flash and such prominent mold lines!!

That's off topic, so...

Great looking model brother!! My only qualm is that the 'glowing' green in the plasma is a bit flat looking. Other then that, I am in awe!!

End of Line

Looks REALLY good brother. Really good.

Might I recommend a wash on the plasma cannon and then re-high-light? I think you'll get more of a definition. And don't be afraid to highlight with green all the way up through with white. Practice on something else first obviously.

But seriously, everything looks great!
