For my second Librarium Painting Challenge, I'm straying from my CSM Death Guard force to get some work done on my Space Wolf army, which has been sitting mostly unpainted for ages (and I don't play with them until they're painted). The fluff behind my army, as the topic suggests, is that they're the forward assault force for Bjorn Stormwolf. They'll be deployed as a hybrid drop pod/foot slogging force. I vowed to complete my scout squad, the last 3 Blood Claws of a pack, and 4 Wolf Guard Terminators. It's not as much as I'd like to do, but I've got a couple other projects going at the same time, and didn't want to over commit. As something of a preview, here's the state of things: Primed Blood Claws and Scouts: Terminator Wolf Guard (-1, for whom I still need to get a Cyclone Missile Launcher) Here's the first completed scout, converted slightly to hold the melta gun. My goal is to really push it over the next few days, and try and get this thing done. Only six more guys to go! I realize only five are done up to this point, but I've been distracted, and procrastinating. I've also never painted scouts before, so I think I can get the Marines done faster. Well, here they are, my Wolf scouts. On to more painting! Hopefully more updates soon. I've only got two more weeks.
