Centurion Tom Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 Hi all Thought I would share my latest attempts at putting together an army. Have decided to give the Iron Warriors a go. Here's the first model who will also serve as a test for the paint scheme: http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae77/Catesy2021/Hekur1.jpg http://i959.photobucket.com/albums/ae77/Catesy2021/Hekur2.jpg I'm planning to use Mark 3 armor along with the standard Chaos Warrior and Iron Warrior upgrade set. I'm hoping to paint him up this weekend and to build a few buddies for him and start work on a Chaos Lord in power armor who will be a champion within my Grand Company. I also threw this guy together out of some old bits ans a model I brought for a reason I have now forgotten. I quite like him so I may give him some buddy's which would sort of resurrect my Raven Guard army. The helmet looks very messy in the picture but it looks a lot neater in real life. Hopefully when painted it will show that. Possibly the most complicated thing I have ever used green stuff for. The last 3 guys will include another twin lightening claw marine, another with power sword and I'm not sure for the last, maybe a power fist, or possibly just storm shield and chain sword. Dark Rage Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Nice stuff so far really like the conversion work on the chaplain alot, as for the new squad they look great, I like the corvus pattern helmets but mixing the helmets gives abit of variation I guess. I think all vetrens and sergeants will have Corvus helms, with standard marines with a mix. Will probably all get studded left shoulder pads to.
