100% GW Thunderwolf,

A while ago I posted up some pics of a conversion I did using the mournfang model as a TWC. As pointed out, the dinamics were off so I had to redo it and seriously think about how I was going to tackle this obstacle of having legal TWC and not all be some canis monstrosity. So, here are the pics I have of the work I came up with. I have yet to decide on a color for the fur because I wanna do white but afraid to do so cause it has the potential to really make it look bad. The stale gray is ok, but not my thing. Thoughts and input on color is appreciated.

And one focusing on the saddle completely (Yay for magnets!)

Doesnt look DA to me, looks like its supposed to be 'celtic'. Anyways....

*shrugs* Its a hell of a job, but I cant get past the part where I find Mournfangs ugly as all heck. I respect the work youve done, and Im glad youve gotten something thats 100% GW, wich sounds important to you and a number of other folks.

Dont forget to post some of this up in the official conversions thread in the stickies section ok? Every idea helps.

Yeah, I was bummed when the feast of blades TO said that I couldn't use my Mr. Dandy wolves so made me not wanna go to the second round hosting as a kind of protest. Since then, as much as I love them, I needed to have an alternative option incase the same thing happens to me this year. The color scheme is celtic focused and more of my style, I really like the dark green color. Still undecided on the fur color for this guys ride. Been staring at pics of actual wolves and even the canis model for some time now....

Here is the finished work, minus the matte coat. Got the terrain in, the snow loaded, and made a frost weapon option for him.

My attempt at the muzzle.

Body shot and terrian. The pic doesn't show it very well, but the wolf is a black dominant fur color.

And the frost weapon.

You know, it would look more like the Thunderwolf picture in the codex, in my opinion, if you colored that nobby/bumpy thing on his head a non-fleshy color, either metalic or the green you use for your marines, so it looks like a helmet instead of a horny growth.
