Capt. Kenaz
I am new to the BA dex and am throwing together a quick list for a little fun and game experiece at a local shop, and had a few questions: Can an independetn character, like say the NON-death co. capt. tycho, join a unit of death company? Can a ind. char. model have the same transport as a death company unit, say share the same drop pod or razorback? I am looking at different ways of combining my HQ choice and a hard hitting assault unit like the Death co. and would really appreciate any advice or knowlwedge of the rules you have. As far as I can tell there is nothing in the dex that says I can',t BUT I do not have the latest edition of the 40k rule book handy, as I have not played in a long long time! :tu: Thanks!! SnorriSnorrison
Hi there, Yes to all questions. Perfectly fine. ICs can join any unit they want, and if that unit is embarked on a transport, the IC goes with them. Remember the Rage, though. Snorri
SevenExxes
How does Dante's Hit and Run rule affect the DC?
Midnightmare
Jump them out of combat (I would say in any direction as the closest visible unit is the ony you are fighting!), next turn move towards closest visible enemy, charge back in to anybody you can, including from where you hae just jumped from! That sound right?
Capt. Kenaz
So I was thinking of running vanguard vets instead of DC, that way I don;t have to worry about rage, and still benefit from some good close combat troops and not as expensive too! Brother Nathan
only thing is if you do attach to vanguard vets they loose heroic intervention...(sadly...)
