So i found some fluff I was doing for my company and decided to finish it,please tell me what you all think.Theres some members from the forum in the story,i will add more if people like the story so far.

All you here is the clacking of boots as Gorm walks into the throne room of Leman Russ the Wolf-King. Grom kneels and says “You sent for me my lord?”

“Yes Grom. I’m making a company to go and find Bulveye and his company so that they can be rewarded for going after the traitorous Thousand Sons, and I want you to be in charge of it. Will you accept Wolf Lord Grom?”

“I will lead the company, but I will not accept the title of Wolf Lord. I will leave that to you my King.”

Leman Russ walks onto the Landing Pad and over to Grom “Greetings Grom, How are the troops?”, Grom turns to face Russ and bows “Good my king, will you be accompanying us my lord?”

“ Not yet Grom I have to finish some things here, If you are not back in a few years I will come and find Aurea Lupi.”

“The Aurea Lupi, sir?” says Grom.

“Yes. You’re my golden wolves, the best of the best.” there was a pause, “If you need supplies send word back here, but careful for this company doesn’t exist” says Russ.

“Yes my King. We will send for supplies only if they are running dangerously low. Are you not afraid that the High Lords on Terra or Inquisition find out and punish the chapter?” asks Grom. Russ just chuckles.

 

A commotion draws the attention of Russ and Grom, “ What’s going on now?” says Grom. The 2 leaders see two wolves fighting each other and walk over to see why. “That’s my drinking horn give it back”

”Its mine now”,

”What’s going on here?” asks Russ

“Sorry lord” says a Wolf Guard “I try to keep them from fighting each other but I was making sure the rest of the pack was ready to go.”

“Who are these two Hendrik?” asks Grom.

“This is forte and Arez” answered Hendrik.

“forte and Arez? How did they get picked for this?” asks Grom

“I picked them because they need to learn discipline and this would be a perfect way for them to learn it” says Russ.

“M’lord are you sure? We need strong dedicated Wolves not ones like..this”

Russ turns to Hendrik and ask: “Do you think these whelps should be part of this company?”

“Well sir,”

“Just answer yes or no Hendrik”

“Yes sir they should. They need to learn to not always fight amongst themselves. Hunting all these traitorous’ dogs will do good to teach them.”

“Good. Where’s the rest of your pack Hendrik?”

“Maverik is talking with Skadi, Jonas is….I have no idea and the rest are amongst their other packs.”

“Skadi is going with you?”

“Lord I thought you knew.” says Grom

“I did not, But it is for the best I guess since she is one of the most powerful Rune Priests.”

Thwap!

All turn around to see Arez and forte staring in disbelief as Grom reaches up and wipes the snow from his head. Grom turns to the two of them and goes over and picks them up and throws them over the side of the landing pad.

“Damn whelps” mutters Grom as he walks back to Russ and Hendrik.

As Grom is walking back Russ starts laughing, after a few minutes forte and Arez climb back onto the landing platform covered in snow. “I told you you have lousy aim” says Arez

Forte punches Arez right in the face, “How’s that for lousy aim?”

Arez pops his broken nose back in place, “Good I guess”

The two walk back to their pack, “Have fun?” asks Nrth while the rest of the pack started laughing again.

Forte and Arez look at each other and a evil smile comes across their faces, they both lash out with their fists.Forte hits Nrth in the chest while Arez hits him in the face. “Ow, damn it Nrth shave your friggin’ beard”

“I did this morning,” answers Nrth “you know I always shave in this morning.”

“All personal report to designated areas for final inspection” chimes a vox caster just as Arez is about to give a response.

Arez looks around at his pack; forte, Nrth and postal. “Damn the crusade was brutal,” thought Arez “we lost most of our pack how will us 4 make a difference with all these great warriors?”

“Arez!”

“huh, what?”

“I asked are you already to go?”

“Oh, yes Hendrik I am”

“Good. Well we get a seventh member to our pack, everyone say hi to Skadi”

“Hi Skadi” says the pack

“10 minutes till departure, all personal take your places in the transports” chimes the vox caster.

I somehow dont picture Leman Russ sounding so casual in his conversations with anyone, not even the Emperor. Try to make it a bit more rough, more space wolfy. Other then that, kudos for going the extra mile and making the fluff for your army.

“Get Down!!!” yelled Eldgrim.

The other 5 Wolf Guard dropped just as a missile flew and hit the ground behind their Razorback. ”That was close” said Halldor as they got up. All 6 were thrown to the ground a few seconds later as the Razorback exploded. “What in the name of Terra was that?” asked Jorund as he picked up his plasma pistol. His question was answered as a Tau Hammerhead came through the smoke screen created from a destroyed Piranha.

“Aegir, take down that Hammerhead now!” yelled Eldgrim. A few seconds later 4 missles and a lascannon hit the Hammerhead. The Fire warriors advancing around it were shredded by the shrapnel.

“We need to get moving” said Jorund “There’s going to be more soon and we only have 15 minutes to link up with the rest of the force.”

The 6 members of the Blood Pack were about to head out when they heard Aegir’s pack call for aid. They immediately headed to help, when they got there they seen that Torvins Grey Hunter pack was dead and Ingvars bikers all but destroyed. “Hows this possible we just secured this way” said Hoskuld.

“I don’t know but the Tau are going to pay” said Thorvald as he hefted his Thunderhammer. The pack went up to Ingvars pack to help, they seen how the Tau were able to kill the rearguard so fast. A hunter cadre supported by kroot had come out of buildings thought to be sealed shut by melta charges.

“Come on Claws lets show these Tau how Wolves fight!” said Thorvald. They all started moving up, Eldgrim got Aegir to focus fire on the battle suits. When the wolves were about to charge they stopped as they seen another 3 Devilfish coming around a corner. Just as Valgerd was about to order them to fall back 5 drop pods slammed into the ground around the Tau. Ancient Kaalrik came out of his Drop pod shooting both his Plasma cannon and heavy flamer. Within minutes the Drop Pod force linked up with the Blood Pack’s force. A few minutes later the Tau were in full retreat, they attempted to retreat but were ripped to shreds by the controlled fire of the Astartes and the fury of the Wulfen. “Many thanks Kaalrik.” said Valgerd as he checked his plasma pistol.

“Any time pup. Are you not due to link up with Lord Grom in a few minutes?”

“Yes, but we were not about to ignore Aegir’s request for aid.” replied Eldgrim as walked over from talking with Ingvar.

“We must hurry,Grom is counting on you and your force to make sure the plan is a success”

“MOVE OUT” shouted Thorvald “Continue on to the objective!”

“How are with going to get there within the time frame? Our Razorback was destroyed by a Hammerhead remember.” says Alrik as he holsters his plasma pistol.

“May I suggest seeing if one of the Tau vehicles is still able to move?” says Kaalrik as he starts moving with the rest of the force.

“Anyone ever pay attention when the Iron Priests were fixing vehicles?”asks Eldgrim as he heads towards the Tau tanks.

“I’m not waiting around here while you fiddle around with the tanks,Grom needs us to hold up our part of the plan” says Thorvald.

“I’ll try to get a vehicle up and running you 5 go and see if you can keep up with the rest of the force” says Jorund.

“Keep up with Wulfen, Rhinos, and a Dreadnought this is going to be fun” grumbled Thorvald.

“Aww are you afraid they’ll get to the enemy first and not leave you any?” says Geir.

“Why you..” Thorvald never got to finish because Jorund called them back.

Jorund had gotten enough power to make the tank work,He headed to the other 5 pack members, “Come on jump in!” he yelled out of one of the many holes in the cockpit. The 5 wolves jump in the back of the Devilfish.”How did you get it to work so fast?” asks Geir

“It was easy I just had to put my knife into the power box.Hold on im going to go full speed to get us there faster.”

“Jorund why are headed for that destroyed building?”asked Geir

“Just taking a little short cut” replied Jorund as he used the build as a ramp.

The tank soared over the building Jorund was aiming for and crashed on the other side of the building.The Blood Pack got out just as the Wulfen came crashing through some ruble at the end of the street.

“Is everyone alright?” asked Eldgrim

“I am never letting Jorund drive again”grumbled Thorvald

“It’s not my fault we crashed Thorvald,it was a miracle that it even started in the first place.” replied Jorund.”How far till we reach our position for the ambush?”

“We’re here.” Answered Hoskuld.

A whole bunch of Tau were coming up on their position. “Weren’t we suppose to ambush them when Grom and his force were distracting them?” asked Jorund.

“I guess we are in charge of distracting them now’ said Geir as they took cover behind the Devilfish from the Tau. The Tau had seen the crashing transport and the 6 Astartes come out so they opened fire, a lot of their shots fell short or went wide but it was enough to pin the Astartes.

“Eldgrim what in the name of Terra are you doing down there?” came a gruff voice over the vox

“We got to the party a little early” he replied

“A little early? The party hadn’t even started, looks like you’re the bait now so act like bait”

“And how does bait act?” asked Eldgrim as rock and dirt started flying into the air as tank shots got closer and closer to the pinned Astartes, “Brother Thorund lead the Wulfen into the buildings so they can get to the Tau alive.”

“Will do Brother” was all Thorund said as he tried to get the Wulfen into the buildings.

“Ancient Kaalrik when you get into effective range aim for the tanks,leave the foot troops for bolter fire, Aegir set up your Long Fangs in a position that has good field of view, Grey Hunter packs Alpha and Charlie deploy in the ruins along the street beside us,Packs Bravo and Echo move with the Wulfen. Rhinos stay back.” Ordered Eldgrim

The packs followed the orders without hesitation or question.Kaalrik was already firing into the mass of Tau, if they didn’t get hit by a plasma shot the Tau were showered in molten debris.

“Lord Grom when do you want the trap sprung?” asked Eldgrim.

“Signal when your force is in position, Wolf Guard pack Fangs tooth and Blood Claw packs Alpha and Bravo have just reported they got the objectives. Grey Hunter pack Omega reports the packages are in place.”

“Roger,packs will be deployed in 5 minutes,sooner if the Wulfen co-operate.”

The Wolves started opening fire when they were in position. “You were wrong” remarked Hoskuld

“How so?” answered Elgrim as he ducked again.

“Its been 3 minutes and the packs are deployed”

“For Fenris! For Russ!! For the Emperor!!!” came the cry over the vox as the buildings behind the advance Tau force toppled over. 20 Terminators came lumbering over the wreckage supported by 3 Grey Hunter packs. In the middle of the force was Grom, a giant even by Astartes standards. Any enemy that got in his way was effortlessly swept aside.

“Strike from the sky brothers!” yelled Grom.2 Skyclaw packs landed in the middle of the Tau force.

“They will be slaughtered” yelled Jorund.

Elgrim just smiled “Brother Thorund allow the Wulfen to have some fun.” Even over the chaos of battle the Wulfen’s howls could be heard, over 30 Wulfen crashed into the Tau.They unfortunately ran right into a line of tanks that were turning around to deal with the Skyclaws and were decimated before they could get into combat.The Blood Pack stared in disbelief that their brothers were cut down so fast and effortlessly.

“Sister Kadlin avenge our fallen brothers!” commanded Thorvald. A few minutes later more armor clad warriors dropped into the Tau force,this time though they dropped behind the tanks and planted melta bombs on the tanks then took off just before the bombs detonated. The Wulfen were avenged.

”Grey Hunter packs Alpha and Charlie move up, Rhinos come to where we are and add your fire.” commanded Eldgrim.

“Didn’t Grom have more units than this in his plan?” asked Halldor. The six of em stopped for a second to recall the plan, “Oh crap!”

“Ya hooo!!!!!” comes a howl as 20 bikers round the corner behind the Blood Pack.

”Hey Forte I bet you I’ll kill more Tau than you!” yells Arez.

“I’ll take the bet,what do I get when I win?” replied Forte

“Focus on the mission whelps” ordered Hendrik.

“They never focus on anything other beating on each other” remarked Postal

“Well we’re in trouble” said Thorvald as he sees whos riding the bikes. “Didn’t we just get those bikes from Fenris?”

“Ya but those whelps don’t care as long as they get to fight” answers Eldgrrim as he sees 2 bikes break off from the pack and head to the sides of the streets.

“Forte, Arez where are you going?” yells Hendrik as they head for a couple piles of rubble.The two try to use the rubbles as ramps,Forte makes it and launches into the air but Arez’s pile wasn’t at an incline so he hit and flew off his bike. Forte see’s where he’s going to land and jumps off his bike.The bike hit a Hammerhead in its cockpit and made it crash into the ground killing the Tau that were right beside it. A Tau got overly brave and jumped on Forte,the warrior was on the Astartes for only a few seconds before its head exploded. “Thanks Nrth I owe you one” says Forte as he gets up

“Any time,come on lets get some kills before Arez gets in here and starts fighting you instead of the Tau”answers Nrth

“Do you think my bike is ride able?” Forte says jokingly.

The unrelenting Wolves destroyed the Tau support force.As per usual the Wolves checked for wounded and tended to them and tagged the dead for the Wolf Priests to extract the geneseed.The Wolves suffered heavy casualties, more than they could spare and a lot more than they expected.All packs were a lot smaller now,the Grey Hunters taking the biggest hits.The 3 packs that supported the Wolf Guard were destroyed,the 2 that were with the Wulfen buried by the building that was destroyed by the stray shots aimed at the Wulfen.An entire SkyClaw pack was killed and the second one had only 3 wolves left. The Iron Priests were dealing with Kaalrik. One was ready to kill Forte and Arez for the abuse of the bikes.

“Lord Grom what was so important to bring a sizable chunk of our company to this world filled with Tau?” asked Geir once the Wolf Guard were done with their tasks.

“This sector was once under Imperial rule,the Tau captured it and tried turning the PDF and the local Guardsman.The PDF joined the Tau but the Guardsman were more resilient and stayed loyal to the Allfather and the Imperium.”

“So we came to rescue some Guardsman?” sneered Thorvald.

“Yes and also reclaim what was lost on this world…an STC.”

“The STC is believed to be an APC template lost during the Heresy” came a voice that sounded half robotic.

“Did we at least get the STC?” asked Geir

“Yes and we freed the Guardsman,which before you ask will becoming with us.The Rune Priests and Wolf Priests will see if they are still completely loyal to the Imperium and the Allfather, if they are they will be allowed to serve with us.” Answered Grom

“Lord Grom the force with the STC is requesting aid, Warp Gates are are opening.I will stay and repair Kaalrik,the others Iron Priests will go with you.” said Boradir “remember to protect the STC at all costs.”

“I know Boradir,you’ve told me enough times.I brought all the force I could spare,the rest of the company will come when they can if we aren’t done here.” Replied Grom.

[Arez]

“Watch those portals! Grey Hunters get behind the barricades, Blood Claws do not charge unless ordered!Lord Grom is inbound with his force,we will hold till he gets here. For Fenris! For Russ!! For the Allfather!!!” yelled Brujen.

“Lord Brujen what can we do to help” asked a Guardsman.

“Get your gunners to set up with the Grey Hunters,everyone else get to the Rhinos.”

“Yes sir.” the Guardsman paused for a minute then asked “umm which ones are the Grey Hunters sir?”

“The ones with boltguns,they have black and red pack markings.”

While the Guardsman were forming up the first of the daemons came through. “Bloodletters” snarled Brujen “Open fire!”

30 Grey Hunters opened fire,the closest daemons were shredded.When the Grey Hunters mag ‘s ran dry the Claws and Guardsman opened fire,they didn’t kill as many daemons but every kill helped.When the bloodletters were about to reach the Blood Claws they were shredded from behind.The Chaos Marines were firing while they came through the portals,they killed more bloodletters than the loyalist.The Wolves started firing at the traitors right away,the Guardsman were scared as soon as they seen the traitors. Brujen didn’t recognize the warband but he could tell they were World Eater descendants because they were covered in spikes,more so than other traitors. Every single Chaos Marine had scraps of skins and dried blood covering their armor,the squad leaders had what looked like dulled scimitars that had a blood red glow.Since the Blood Claws weren’t recruits they didn’t charge like Brujen ordered,instead added their bolt pistol rounds to the Guardsman and Grey Hunters ,the traitors seemed to not even care that they were even being shot at.

“Blood Claws charge!!” yelled Brujen while he took out his Frost Sword and charged with the Claws.

The Chaos Marines dropped their bolters and took out their hand to hand weapons just as the Wolves came into reach.The Guardsman stopped firing and the Hunters started picking their shots,when the fighting became to chaotic they charged. The warp gates started opening again,more Tactical Marines came out supported by a line of Terminators.The Guardsmen once they seen the threat started shooting at the Tactical Marines who in turn started firing at the Guard instead of the melee.The Guard were about to break rank when a couple Rhinos came up beside them,2 Long Fang packs jumped off the Rhino’s.As soon as the packs were off the Rhinos gunned their engines,when they were almost at the melee the doors opened and out poured some Grey Hunters.The Rhinos shot forward to the terminators, they knew that they wouldn’t do much but every second the terminators focused on the Rhinos it gave the Long Fangs that much more time to set up their weapons.Half of the Terminators started shooting at the Rhinos,the other half shot into the melee not caring if they hit their allies or not.

Not too sure on the latest installment. Seems to jump quite a bit from the other parts you've written. Did enjoy killing the Hammerhead with a bike though lol.
