henrywalker
so i have 3 landraiders that i sprayed a very bright silver (mithril equivalent) for my grey knights by the time that i painted up the rest of my grey knights i changed my mind about the silver so that all my other models are a lot darker (boltgun+fenris grey). I really don't want to have to paint by brush 3 landraiders and i was wondering what an overbrush of the dark silver would do, ive only every used overbrushing for lighter colours than the base. Anyone have any experience with this or any other suggestions Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/245968-overbrushing-dark-colours/ Share on other sites
Grimdarkness
Try giving one a wash with thinned down black paint see if that tones down the silver. Olis
Try giving one a wash with thinned down black paint see if that tones down the silver. This. Also you'll need to do it carefully unless you have a way of breaking the surface tension - a drop of washing up liquid in the pot is the cheap and easy solution to that.
