Pup's question

Sure, go ahead. Just dont be too crazy with it. Though to be honest, our definition of crazy is a bit extreme. Your wolflord didnt beat the Great Wolf in a barfight or single handedly invade Comorragh because he heard the babes there were frisky. Avoid crap like that and you're probably (emphasis probably) okay.

Heh. I like you're thinking :).

I find that this question pops up quite a lot. Personally, i love the option to expand the lore of 40k with my own imagination. Like Jonas said, most people will be fine as long as it's not too crazy, but it's really up to you and what makes you happy! It's your hobby, so it's your choice ^_^.

I'm alway more impressed by those who create their own lords and companies than those who just take them from the books

Cheers...make me feel bad for doing Bjorn Stormwolf

Dont.

While the recent codex added alot of flavor to the old boy- wich, frankly, was nothing like I envisioned him- theres nothing wrong with good ol' Stormwolf. Aye, and Ill have words with anyone who wants to say otherwise about my great company.

That bein said, theres no problems coming up with your own name and symbol, especially if youre good at painting freehand symbols.

This site really needs a sarcasm option for us Brits. I've gone with Bjorn because I love Vindicators and like the sound of the short write up on him. If there's any other fluff you know of for him I'd be more than grateful for the tip.

As for the actual question itself...this is the best thing about the Space Wolves. You have two Great Companies with their Wolf Lords set out for you (Logan and Ragnar to save anyone from checking). Then you have a Bran Redmaw with the info in the recent Imperial Armour book. And you have another nine with a short but charactoristic write up. Lastly...you have the 13th!

The 13th doesn't just cover the lot that went into the EoT after Magnus, but also all those companies who have left the main fold. Essentually giving you free rain creatively. And no one here will ever discourage creativity. Just look at the variation on grey chosen.

Did I come off as severe? Sorry mate, "Dont." was short for "aww, dont be like that... cause then I might feel bad, ye pain in the butt".

wow that describes forte perfectly :woot:

Trake, its actually better you make your own company so you have free reign to do anything you want(with in reason of course).

Sadly no, wich was actually one of the reasons why I chose him- I liked the sound of the name, loved the symbol, and figured I could do whatever the heck I wanted with him. There might be some that Ive missed- if so, Valerian likely has a copy.

Trake, go nuts.

the Wolves have been fighting for the All-Father since the Great Crusade. Leading our warriors are Wolf Lords, who are ever at the front of a battle. This is awesome, heroic, and awesomely manly.

the other side of that coin is that the galaxy is a dangerous place. there are many threats that can fell even a wolf lord, meaning that you have both 10k of history to play with and the future if any of our current Wolf Lords fall in battle.

Nope, there's nothing out there on him, other than what little bit is in the 5th edition codex, that I know of, at least.
