Still debating it. As of right now, I'm inkless, and if I get anything I want to be sure it's something I can live with. I think a Ragnar style wolf would do just fine. Now as to where....

I'm in the same boat, except with me it's more about whether I can fit it into my designs - currently I have most of my body done via mental designs although no actual ink yet haha - getting my whole body except hands, neck upwards and there lol

I go in this coming Sunday to get a Crux Terminatus placed on my left shoulder. If Max doesn't shut this down, I'll post pictures next week.

I look forward to seeing this in the flesh :)

End of Line

Keep it relevant to space wolves please.

Any Pics should have SW related material.

Currently waiting on my skin to heal from acne treatments as a child. After that, I plan to get a good big space wolf logo somewhere on my upper body. There was a big old thread about tatts here several years ago, when I was just a Blood Claw on these forums. Got into a bit of an arguement about people with tattoos regretting them. Lets not let that happen to this thread.

I've got a 40k Tattoo that turns 20 this summer. It's not Space Wolves related, however, as I hadn't started collecting them yet in '92. It did, however, come from Slaves to Darkness.

I have "All is Dust" (am I allowed to say that in this forum? Please don't hurt me.) on my chest, but I really really want a space pup tattoo someday. Probably something cutesy with the word Fenris under it, though I don't play the Wolves myself. Most of my other stuff is Giger. I am so indecisive when it comes to my next 40k thing. I think that having ink based on two rival Legions is a bad idea. I might wake up with cuts and bolter wounds.

Ooooh.. Crux.. Interesting. Ideassss.

I think I might get a wolf related tattoo in the future. Not necessarily Space Wolf-wolf, but maybe. It will definitely have some Celtic and possibly Nordic influence.

Why the wolf means anything to me, is its cultural importance. In Old English literature, the wolf was the last sign of battle, it came after the eagle and the raven. It was an anilmal of Odins, because it was an animal of battle, and yet it would be a wolf to swallow the world in ragnorok, including Odin. If you cant tell I like history and mythology, hence why I love the 'Wolves.

The whole thing I think about tattoos, is that I want a reason to have one, and I don't have a good reason yet.

@Aquilanis, the Great Wolf tat looks good.

@Aquilanis - lovely tattoo :) especially as it's kept the colour after a few years.

@Commander Alexander - I know how you feel about both the historical view towards Space Wolves - the links to Odin/Thor/Freya etc. in Norse mythology, I am a massive fan of early medieval era history as well as military history in general (though that's more through family connections) - but also I agree, I'm intending on having much of my body covered in art-work at somepoint haha

I can't wait to see Rhapsody's Crux :tu:

@Aquilanis - lovely tattoo :) especially as it's kept the colour after a few years.

It was taken a few hours after it was done. The colour has faded a little over time as it will be seven years old in August and there is scaring on the mane where I caught a scab that developed, but I've left it as it is. The scaring seems fitting somehow :cuss

Nicely done Aquilanus!! Is that your for arm??

I'm getting excited for Sunday!!

End of Line

It's my right inner arm (as in on the same side as the palm of my right hand)

Hope yours goes well! ;)

I don't have any images tattood, by forearms are quotes - am I a secret Bear of the Word!? - but my next tattoo I want to be:

"I recognise my failing and will be sure to correct it."

Whilst the source of the quote isn't widely loved, I like the way the words resonate in a similar way to my others.

I'll be turning 22 on April 26 and am currently considering a Space Wolves tattoo. The wolf has always been a very important symbol for me because of my last name and I've always felt a certain connection when it comes to wolves in general. They represent so many things in so many cultures all over the world and I feel like I'm a worthy representative of the wolf when it comes to the values and ideals it stands for. So.. naturally I just can't see myself outgrowing a wolf-related tattoo. The question is what.. and where.
