Small Far Away
I was wondering if any of you had any luck with a Drop Pod heavy/only Space Wolves army, and how you did it, as it would work well with my play style. Much obliged! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246076-pod-puppies/ Share on other sites
Karack Blackstone
The theory I understand to some degree. Grey Hunters are vastly more effective of our troop choices when considering going drop pod heavy/only, at least that's what I think. The question would be how much of your force you're wanting to favor with podding tactics: four pods of GH's with 2 PG's, PW, and a PP, maybe a MotW for CA? That's a great deal of killy. the issue is that no pod could properly deliver Blood Claws; they're able to function well enough, the issue is that they basically need an LRC to get to the line and a WP kitted however you wish to be combat effective. Toss in a WGPL with a PF and it really begins to add up. All pods can work; if you feel you have the mindset to play it well go for it. As far as what specifically is podding in, an idea may prove helpful; i.e. post up a list, or at least what you have models-wise. We can help you to build your actual list in the SW Army Lists sub forum, at the top of the page (just below the banner, above the stickies). hendrik
http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=243959 not to sound rude small far way but have you tried using the search function? i don't mean this badly but it seems recently a lot of topics are in effect the same. By using the search function you'll truely find a treasure of topic just waiting for you to be read, containing information or tactics that might not get posted anymore because said poster 's been away for a while and the likes.
