Mercy 0f Spades
Howdy B&C! Since I'm considering buying a Ravenwing Battleforce box I thought I'd do a little more research into bikes. My question concerns the Attack Bike that you can add to the RAS. Is it part of the squad of bikers or its own separate unit? I think it would make a lot more sense for them to be fielded together but is that the case? I can figure tactics for the attack bike either way; I'd just like some clarification. Solidstone3101
From what i understand both the land speeder and the attack bike are "seperate scoring units" im not sure if this means that they can hold objectives or if they are just a seperate kill point. They are how ever great vehicle poppers,.....relentles and multi melta means a str 8 2d6 to pen at 12".... probably one of my favorite units in game. Chaplain Lucifer
Attack bike is a separate unit. You buy it as part of teh squad but it follows it's own merry way in the tabletop. As for AB tactics.. they're the roving tank hunters... make use of concelament and/or turbo boost to get to those nasty hard targets (land raiders, etc). It will probably die after the mission is complete so expect their lifespan to be short... Cactus
Page 27 – Ravenwing Combat Squads, second paragraph. Change to “Much like Combat squads, the squadron’s Attack Bike and Land Speeder are purchased together with the squadron and then deployed at the same time as the squadron’s bikes, but from then on, they always operate as completely independent units of one model.” Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246251-another-bike-question/#findComment-2979568 Share on other sites
