Combat_Vet
Well, most of the plastic work is done on the first two and they will get GS'd tomorrow. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w291/meadows88/2012-01-28182420.jpg I will be attempting to make them somewhere between Pre-heresy and current. I don't think the change happened overnight and I want al older feeling army. The bolters will all be drum fed. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w291/meadows88/2012-01-28182434.jpg I will be trying to paint them in an "off bone" color with purple lesions. I will also be attempting to show the old legion symbol and colors fading and the nurgle icons taking predominance. Better days, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246276-my-2012-lpc-project/ Share on other sites
Dorns Padawan
200Plus, mate these dudes look awesome!!!! I love the drum you put on the bolter :cuss , that just oozes awesomeness! Like the poses. Interesting way you have gone with your guys, I tend to do my TS guys with the Termie legs but I have noticed a few people extending the standard legs and going at it that way. Do you find it easier? Very impressive so far mate  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246276-my-2012-lpc-project/#findComment-2979778 Share on other sites
Combat_Vet
I try to use the standard legs for the regular PA marines. I use the termie legs for my TS termies as I want them to be a bit bulkier. It is really easy to use plastic card to extend the legs, as well as being a cheaper route than the termies  Thanks for the encouragement! If you considered being trapped and tortured in the warp for days months or years as quick. Your WIP look good nice start to your vow. Combat_Vet
3rd guy is built, but no GS as of yet. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w291/meadows88/WIPtentacle.jpg The right arm will end in a tentacle (sp). Think that may be "over the top" or non-nurgly? The horned guy is for size comparison. Better days, +edit - noticed I left the Khorne sign on him. I'll be shaving that :P + Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246276-my-2012-lpc-project/#findComment-2981293 Share on other sites
Combat_Vet
Started adding paint to the vet. I am hoping the color of the armor can be seen. Went a little (way too) much solid doing rust. So, it'll have to be fixed. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w291/meadows88/sgt1.jpg All in all, I'd say I am happy with the results after almost 2 years out of the hobby. PyronusSouria
That looks really cool, I like his face. You should add some brown to the rust or something when you fix it up, maybe stretch it on to the armour plates themselves? It looks great though, better than my vow. <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246276-my-2012-lpc-project/#findComment-2982000 Share on other sites
