battlebeats
So according to the space wolves codex I can have 3 fast attack choices, thunderwolf cavalry have composition of 1-5. Any model may take storm shield, one may take power weapon/wolf claw/etc. Could I technically take 3 separate squads of 1 cavalry each and have a storm shield/wolf claw and just move them together? This would give me 3 cavalry with 3 storm shields, 3 wolf claws, and 12 total attacks w/o assaulting... Also since canis wolfborn is an independent character I could move him along with them giving insane amounts of re-rolls, attacks, and movement? Grey Mage
You can move them together but theyll be targeted seperately, flee seperately, and each give up their own kill point. They cant form a unit, theyre not independent characters. If your ok with that, then by all means- go for it. Otherwise these guys are each quite expensive and Im not convinced you wouldnt be better off with landpseeder typhoons. vanguardwolf
15 fenrisian wolves, a 3wolf pack or thunderwolves work better. surround the 3 wolves with fenrisians as meat shield but not only as meat shield 15 wolves have a 19 to 24" range have 45 WS4 S4 attacks on the charge. and that is strong enough to damage a rear armour 10 verhicle. but thunderwolves are imho a bit to expencive for that they can do Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/246470-wait-wait-wait-what/#findComment-2984964 Share on other sites
