LPC2012 Uhr's vow...

Update...

I think I am more or less done with the vow. I might make some corrections before the vow end-date runs out; but as I said I will present a Dreadnought of a "tabletop quality"; so I am sure I don't fail the vow and You Brothers being to slow of a painter. Though I will work further on this Dreadnought after the LPC 2012 is over; and will probably post more pictures.

Thank You all for support and participation, and especially to "Master of Recruits" Captain Semper for getting me involved and organising this "mission" for all of the Unforgiven in bringing honour in the Lion's name.

Dreadnought Eliakim:

:) That is AWESOME! Look at the presence of that thing! Very clean job all around - looks perfect! Eliakim FTW!!! ;) Now start melting Heretics!!!

Congratulations for completing your vow! A true hero of the Chapter! I'll update the list but you need to post your completion here along with a link to this magnificent WIP thread! That way you'll be "officially" on record!

Thank You for encouragement, motivation, organisation, comments and critics; Master of Recruits!

I posted the link there and to Your "Phase 2" topic too; in order to motivate our Brothers to press on...

Never forgive, never forget!

Neatness is the cornerstone of quality painting. Very nice. :tu:

Looks good to me! Congrats on completing the vow, well done. :)

Thanks!

Job well done Brother Uhr, very tidy work.

Any thoughts on weathering? FW dusting maybe? If that's not your cup of tea then total congrats to you on a great Dread.

Thank You! Dreadnought is not finished yet for me, but since I am very slow when it comes to our hobby I called it done for the vow since it is table-top level now. I'll use pigments for dusting; MIG P037 (Gulf War Sand) and MIG P038 (African Earth), especially on its "feet". MIG pigments are great, and those FW pigments are just ridiculously overpriced.
